Yes. Our HRM will reflect back 95% of radiant heat hitting its surface, used in conjunction with conventional insulation, our HRM will enhance the insulation properties, and could lead to a reduction in soft insulation required, whilst providing a lower U-Value. Apollo’s HRM also act as an excellent vapour barrier, halting moisture migration into the buildings other insulation layers. The systems ensure soft insulation layers are kept dry. In certain climates, if other insulations are not used condensation will occur on the cold side of the foil. The use of other insulations moves the dew point away from the foil.
