Does there have to be a recipients name on the GiftCards.com™ Visa® Debit Gift Card?
You have the option to have a name of your choice on the gift card or to have the gift card non-personalized. If you choose to NOT personalize the gift card, you can insert your company name or even the text “Gift Card” into the name fields, but these fields do need to be filled. In addition, there is a 16-digit number that is embossed onto the gift card, which gives the gift card its own unique identity. Also, a message field is available for you to add a personalized message to the card (no special characters allowed). This field is optional, but is included in the fees. The space available in the message field is a total of 23 characters (no special characters allowed and spaces count as characters) in the first and last name field. *Please note, some internet merchants or telephone purchases require the name and address that is listed for the gift card, therefore it will be important to ensure that the cardholder is aware of the address listed, otherwise purchases may be declined t
