Absolutely! Themebot is built entirely using open source software and this is Themebot’s way of saying thank you to the open source community. Currently 10% of profits are donated. As the site continues to grow, this amount will increase. Donations are also made regularly to the developers of components and modules used on Themebot. To add incentive for submitting new themes, each theme uploaded by a member will be counted as a vote for the open source platform the theme was created for. As a theme designer, you get added exposure by having your theme hosted on Themebot and you show your support for open source software. The donation is made on a yearly basis and the amount each platform receives will be based on the number of themes that were submitted. At the end of the year there will be a report detailing the amount that has been donated to each open source platform.
