Does the YWCA Aurora do a Leadership Luncheon?
The YWCA Aurora holds its annual Women of Distinction Recognition Luncheon in May. The event has honored over 125 women in our community since its inception in 1988. The event also gives an Equity Award to area businesses and organizations who have done a tremendous job in advancing the role of women and minorities in the work place. The Women of Distinction Luncheon also recognizes future leaders in our community by providing a Bright Future and Rising Star college scholarships to outstanding female students from the community.
