Does the Yuma Elementary School provide bus transportation for Roosevelt students?
Yes. Roosevelt students do have the privilege of bus transportation. Please remember that it is a privilege, and it is every student’s responsibility to be sure that his/her behavior is appropriate. Every year in Arizona, there are numerous accidents with injuries involving school buses. We often trace the cause of these accidents to the disruptive behavior of the students on the bus. The district has established the following rules to help ensure the safety of your child: 1. Stay seated at all times. 2. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. 3. Do not mark on the bus or cut seats. 4. Keep all parts of body inside bus. 5. No cussing. 6. No loud noise. 7. Keep the aisle clear. 8. No throwing objects.
