Yes! Again theres no built in feature to demonstrate this feature particularly. But then Google Maps pre-installed on Xperia X10 does use compass indirectly. You can Of course download the dedicated Compass apps from market and most of them are free. There are a few nice applications of this feature on android platform. One is Metal Detector. You’ll love it anyways.
