Does the WTO have any provisions on restrictive business practices?
No WTO provisions exist presently in this area. However, a working group was established at the Singapore Ministerial Meeting to study issues relating to the interaction between trade and competition policy, including anti-competitive practices, in order to identify any areas which may merit further consideration in the WTO framework. This work is presently going on but no results are available as yet.
