SmGP is another program in support of local NGOs’ activities The scope of the SmGP includes empowerment of the marginalized and vulnerable groups engagements in order to have their voice in development processes.Grants in Albania are being provided directly by World Bank-managed funding mechanisms. To this date the Small Grants Program has allocated 77 small grants corresponding to a total amount of US$ 286,000 spread during the time period 2001-2008.
