Does the wiring from the turbines go into the building’s electric meter?
— No. The wiring goes directly into the building’s main breaker panel. It is helpful to think of the breaker panel as a swimming pool that gets its water (in the turbine case electrons) from two sources. The more water (electrons) being produced on site the less that is pulled/drawn from elsewhere (i.e., the grid).
