Does the winner of Dancing with the Stars win any money?
According to the most recent report celebrities are paid a guaranteed $125,000 for the first 2 weeks. They are then paid $10,000 a week for weeks 3 and 4. At that point the pay begins to step up considerably with $20,000 a week for weeks 5, 6 and 7. It then increasing to $30,000 a week for weeks 8 and 9. Weeks 10 and 11 will pay the stars $50,000 a week. All totaled stars can earn $365,000 as of the spring 2009 season.
