Does the Wilmette Institute offer distance-learning (“correspondence”) courses?
The Wilmette Institute began offering distance-learning, or “correspondence,” courses in January 1998. In 1998 it conducted three courses, in 1999-2000 it conducted over a dozen, and many more are being planned for the upcoming school years. These courses eventually will cover all aspects of the Faith. In September 1998 the Wilmette Institute Board voted to establish a “Studies in the Bahá’í Faith” program. The correspondence courses are part of that program.
