DOES THE WEATHER UPDATE FEATURE DRAIN THE BATTERY?
We designed the weather update feature to be very conservative to minimize any battery use. For example, we do not use GPS to get your location but rather the wireless network which uses less battery since we don’t need to be that precise. We also don’t update very often, only every three hours, and the update itself is limited to a second or so and optimized with very little data being exchanged.
