Does the Vice-Chancellor travel first-class when going home at weekends or to events and conferences?
The Vice-Chancellor pays personally for his travel at weekends. When travelling to events and conferences on University business, he may travel first-class on trains but where possible always seeks to obtain reduced price tickets. When travelling on behalf of other organisations, the expenses are recharged.
