Does the veil hinder communication?
People communicate in many ways and one’s facial expressions are just a small part of communication. Drivers use their hands, on the radio we use our voices, and in day to day chores, such as shopping and at the doctors, there is usually never a problem. It is in fact for the woman to reconcile the hindrance her veil may cause in her interaction with people, and not a single woman who covers has expressed that there is any problem. In fact, the only problem she may face, is the increasing racism that people throw at her, and the growing confidence people are showing in expressing their hatred. So people that have a problem with not understanding us should then have a problem with using modern technology such as telephones, radios and email because they can’t see the person!
