Does the V8000HD have an underscan feature?
Even though the V8000HD does not have an underscan button LCD panels are in general considered already underscanned. The underscan function shrinks the image so one can see absolutely everything the camera is shooting. This is valuable on production sets for spotting things like boom mikes that might later be visible during post production. LCD panels (unlike CRTs) show most, if not all that the camera sees. The frame surrounding the panel can of course limit the view but this is not an issue with the V8000HD. What you see is basically what to get.
