Does the V2D still work when I have a lossy packet network?
A. The V2D algorithms still function properly under very high packet loss (e.g. 20-30%). Obviously, there will be artifacts in moving images or video but the connection will not break down as with other compression algorithms. Indeed, due to the unique resilience of our compression algorithm implementation, when a stable image is displayed, the user will within a very short time receive a perfect image, free of artifacts even over networks suffering a high packet loss.
