The UW does not participate, at the undergraduate level, in any programs for out-of-state students to pay in-state tuition. There is one exception: students who enroll at the UW for one to three quarters through participation in the National Student Exchange pay the same in-state tuition as they would pay at their home institutions. The National Student Exchange is a consortium of U.S. colleges and universities that have joined together to provide their students with domestic exchange opportunities throughout the U.S. and its territories.
