Does the use of LSD cause long-term psychological side effects such as flashbacks?
Although few studies have been done, general findings suggest that residual psychiatric and psychological problems are associated with the use of LSD. Marijuana has been reported to provoke these flashbacks in former LSD users. In addition, LSD can cause severe psychiatric and emotional problems in some users. However, this occurs in less than one percent of people who have taken LSD.
