The process for using jet anesthesia is considered to be “work efficient.” The additional step required to administer jet anesthesia does not increase time. In emergency situations, the administration of jet anesthesia may shorten the time for IV insertion or phlebotomy (due to decreased pain) as experienced in our surgicenter and emergency room.
