Does the use of Bioheat® fuel void my heating oil system warrantees?
In 2007, Beckett published a tech bulletin on alternate fuels where they indicated that they will honor warranty coverage for up to B5 blends. Over 40 million miles of positive, trouble-free experience with up to B20 blends in the on-road market provides a level of confidence that there should be little or no issues with equipment if the biodiesel concentration is at the 20% or lower level.
