Does the use of a Briedert cap on an AMPCO chimney really void the UL Listing?
All components used to make a system must be manufactured by the company and within the facility that has been UL Listed for the manufacture of that product. Therefore, all parts and pieces manufactured by anyone other than AMPCO®, even if the parts are UL Listed by a competitor, could void the UL Listing.
