Does the University of Maryland offer equitation courses?

0

No. Neither the Department of Animal and Avian Science nor the Institute of Applied Agriculture offers riding/equitation courses. We are striving to offer programs that will prepare students for future careers in the research, veterinary or stable management fields, and not necessarily instruction or horse training. However, students may ride horses owned by the ANSC Department by participating in the UM Equestrian Club or they may ride with the UM Equestrian Team.
