The early childhood education partnership with Jordan is new. The Jordanian institutions have not previously established a relationship with another U.S. institution in this subject area or activity. Some U.S. universities that are interested in responding to the RFA may have had previous partnerships or programs with one or both participating Jordanian institutions. HED considers these previous relationships unrelated to this award and are not part of the evaluation criteria for the application.
