Does the unit remove fluoride?
Yes! EPA approved test methods show that the unit is effective in extracting fluoride. We have independently tested for fluoride extraction. Tap water with 1.1 milligrams of fluoride per liter was tested by Sequoia Analytical Laboratories. No fluoride was detected in the drinking water coming from the water ionizer. 1.6 milligrams of fluoride was detected in the concentrated run-off from the unit.
