Does the unit make water? What happens with the condensate?

Yes, the COOLIT2000 Series is a true air conditioner and some moisture is removed from the air which results in condensate. The condensate collects in the two condensate tanks located behind the bottom of the front door. When the tanks fill up, the control panel will display a yellow light to let you know that the tanks are full. If the tanks are not emptied within a short time (the time period just depends on how humid the room/application is) then the control panel will display a red light which will result in the shut down of the unit. This prevents condensate overflow. To clear the yellow/red lights the two condensate tanks must be emptied and put back into the unit correctly.
