Does the TOD Strategy master plan include a new City park and open space?
The TOD Strategy master plan will include a new pedestrian plaza at W. Joaquin between San Leandro Boulevard and Carpentier Street. In addition to that plaza, San Leandro Crossings will create a second pedestrian plaza between Martinez Street and Alvarado Street adjacent to the affordable community. This second plaza will allow bikes and pedestrians from the west a convenient and safer way to access the BART station. San Leandro Crossings master plan also includes expanded landscaped open space along Martinez Street. Each community also includes private recreational open space areas for its residents and guest.
