Sure, God there are so many ‘mean’ mean this mean that it’s a cliché. You know I do think about other people’s titles a lot, and I do agonise over my titles. It is rare that I feel really satisfied by a title. Do you ever want to change it at a later date? Well I had an opportunity to change when I made the movie because there were six years of it being Mean Creek and in the seventh year, before it came out, I had an option and I thought about other titles again. One of the ones I liked the best was The River George but I actually just had faith in the title that I came up with seven years ago for whatever reason. People argue about it. I read some very positive reviews but I read this one review where nine tenths of the review was spent on the title and how bad it was and what a mistake it was.
