Does the Thorfinn move from wreck site to wreck site – or anchor centrally using tender boats to move divers to wreck sites?
Two large 30 foot covered RIBs with full facilities and two 24 ft open craft operate dive tours from Thorfinn at various central anchorages within Truk Lagoon. Thorfinn and her fleet provide a broad mobility offering the widest range of diving dispatch at Truk, taking small groups of 4 8 divers to five daily sites adjacent to various anchorages. Thirty or more wrecks can be accessed during 7 actual dive days extending across 8 days on weekly rates, when following carefully selected Saturday schedules. Twenty-two onboard staff provide these wide diversities including free neighbouring island visits, to a maximum 22 guests. Thorfinn steams to 2 or 3 differing anchorages with larger groups for closely adjacent dive access. With light numbers central anchorages are utilized within 5 -10 minutes of most dive sites by fast launches.
