Does the T-Mobile sidekick 3 work as just a phone?
Suprisingly (Just Kidding), The Sidekick 3 works as it was meant to, a phone with built-in multimedia capabilities. I would only recommend the phone if you are a serious texter, since the full QWERTY keyboard rarely proves useful. But in general, I wouldn’t recommend the Sidekick 3, on a count of it’s poor screen resolution (quality, basically) T-Mobile has a large variety of phones- go in to an authorized dealer and ask them about their top quality overall phones, such as in screen resolution, battery life, call quality, camera quality, ease of use, etc. To finish answering your question, a headset isn’t necessary to use your Sidekick 3, or any Sidekick for that matter.
