Does the stomach operation help stop vomiting and reflux?
i didn’t see that but im waiting for a op called a fundoplication because of the same problems as you, i have a hiatus hernia and that’s what this op is for, the doctor i seen tried to talk me out of it because it is such a bad op, in my area there’s only one doctor who can do it and there is a 80% success rate but even then you can be left with bad side effects and once its done, if it goes wrong nothing can be done to put it right, you have to live with it, i sat and cried when he told me this because i cant go on the way i am, i have constant erosion’s in my oesophagus and throat were the acid has burnt, i have no social life because i cant drink alcohol,he advised me to lose some weight even though im not obese and to eat only a healthy diet at all times, then to go back in 6 months to see him and if im no better then i can have the op but i just don’t know what to do, he seemed really genuinely concerned about this op, i don’t know if its the same one you are on about but might be
