Does the state of Tennessee require a church-related school to have a physical campus?
HLA is a state recognized church-related school. Having a “campus” would not make HLA more of a legal school. There are other state recognized schools in TN that have been in operation longer than HLA and do not have physical day schools. What makes HLA a legal school: • A listing with the TN Department of Education as a recognized church-related school: HomeLife Academy is a state recognized church-related school, listed with the TN Department of Education. This is the list that all counties refer to when transferring records to other schools.
