Does the SRCA employ any type of Security staff for the community?
While the SRCA does not employ a Security officer or service, the SRCA does employ a courtesy officer who monitors the property seven days a week. The primary duty of the courtesy officer is to oversee the common areas, facilities and assets maintained by the SRCA. The courtesy officer patrols the Association streets, its common areas and reports any suspicious activities to law enforcement. Non-working streetlights are reported to the appropriate utility company. The courtesy officer also provides access and closure of the Community Room to those residents renting it for private meetings and/or parties. Other responsibilities include assisting the SRCA with community-wide events and monitoring parking areas.
