Does the Speedry system overdry or cause damage by heat or drying too quickly?

NOT IN OUR EXPERIENCE. The Speedry system has NO justified history of causing secondary damage or over drying. However, in newly constructed properties or where water damage has been significant, it is expected to see secondary damage such as mdf blowing or skirtings or timbers being affected as the building dries. This is normal and due to the effects and quantity of water absorbtion in the building material and NOT the drying. We recommend that the building dries first and then scoped for refurbishment.
