Does the specialist need to be in the United Concordia network?
No. With the iDental plan you may visit any licensed dentist. However, when you use an Advantage Plus network dentist, you will pay less out-of-pocket because the participating dentists have agreed to accept United Concordia’s maximum allowable charge (MAC) as payment in full for covered services (less any deductible or coinsurance you are required to pay based on your dental plan).
