Does the SPCA euthanize?
It depends on the area of the country they are in.For instance the ones in large cities get a lot of donations,and can keep the animals indefinitely or transfer them to other no-kill shelters.Like the one in New York,on Animal Precinct.I think that they only euthanize the sickest or most vicious animals and they even try their best to save them,even doing expensive surgery on them.But in smaller or poorer counties or cities,they have to euthanize animals,as they don’t have the funds to treat the sick ones or train the vicious ones,and sometimes there is no room for more.So,yes,they do euthanize. You can give us thumbs down,but those kittens will probably be euthanized if there is no room for them. It isn’t my fault. I’m just telling you the truth,and so is everyone else.
