No, you do not need to drain the spa tub after each use, but you should keep an eye on water quality. Testing and proper treatment will keep water clean and inviting. Draining and refilling is normally required every three months, and you don’t need to worry about hurting your back bending into your spa tub to bail out, as there is a floor drain just as in your bath. Your spa tub also comes with its own filtration system and the filter cartridge will need to be removed and rinsed from time to time. We recommend however you do this at least fortnightly to extend the life of your filter but most importantly to ensure your water is crystal clear, clean and safe. Another good idea is to buy an extra filter and rotate use between sets. This will extend the life of your two sets of filters to around 3 years.
