Yes, Ferro Backup System does support tape devices under Windows 2000 and newer ones. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 no longer include NTBackup or the Removable Storage Manager. Ferro Backup System, however, does not rely on those components and can support tape drives under those systems as well.
