Does the SLR Shepherd control video with Canon DSLR cameras?

0

The Canon DSLR cameras so far allow activating video only through the USB port with a computer or with a button on the back of the camera, and not with the wired remote shutter port. So the SLR Shepherd cannot activate video, at least with the current Canon firmware. Compatible Flash Units: Flash or wireless trigger with a regular two conductor sync cord connection. Examples include but are not limited to hotshoe, PC, household, and PocketWizard wireless. The SLR Shepherd provides high voltage protection for the cameras, so an older high voltage flash system can be used without an additional protection device. The SLR Shepherd does not support at this time TTL flash mode. User Manual: Additional information about the SLR Shepherd and detailed user instructions. Ordering: The SLR Shepherd and cables are available from Berezin Stereo Photography Products.
