The SiO2 layer does NOT add any extra cost to the ITO-coated end product as it is an integrated process for the CEC-S and CEC-P coatings. It just increases the technical product quality without increasing the cost. The CEC-S and CEC-P coatings are our most economical ITO-coatings although they are the only ITO-coatings with a standard passivation layer.
