Does the Shubb Deluxe capo come in brass, or black chrome?
No, our deluxe series featuring the roller are available only in stainless steel (models S1, S2,S3, S4, S5, S5r, and S3v). This is not a marketing decision, but a manufacturing one. The shape of the bottom piece that holds the roller housing is made by a casting process, and the (very expensive) tool is specific to the material. I must admit that a brass or a black Shubb capo with a roller is appealing, but it is not likely to appear in the near future. I didn’t say never.
