Does the shock detector prevent against towing the car away?
The construction of shock or vibration detectors commonly used in Vehicle Security Systems is very simple – they are built with a magnet mounted on strings and magnetic sensitive element or with a spring mounted piezzosensor. Thus, these detectors tend to generate false alarms, caused by wind, passing by tracks, buses and tramways, and of course weather: wind and storm. As a consequence, these sensors have lost their position on market and are used quite rarely.
