Does the self-closing lid design have a fusible link?
A. A fusible link such as those used in the doors of Flammable Storage Cabinets is not applicable to Oily Waste Cans because there are no means provided to hold the can’s lid open. Oily Waste Cans use either foot levers that will automatically close the lid when the lever is released or manually opening lids that will not allow the lid to open far enough to stay open.
