Does the second / terminating Gateway have to be in the destination city?
A Gateway can be set up anywhere and does not necessarily need to be in the destination city. If the terminating Gateway is located in the destination city it is more advantageous because it completes the call via a local call. Whereas, if the terminating Gateway is NOT located in the destination city, it will have to complete the call by dialing the destination long distance number. This means long distance (Off Net) charges from the terminating Gateway to the destination city will apply.
