A71: the PRV-LX1 supports closed captioning using the SDI Input. However, the SDI output and IEEE-1394 do not have the ability to view closed caption recorded signals. Note: All analog inputs and SDI input support closed caption recording. IEEE-1394/DV input does not support closed caption recording.
