No. No. Download and install HandBrake http://handbrake.fr/ or the DVD roipper of your choice. Finalize the disc in the camcorder. Take the disc out and put it in the drawer loading DVD drive associated with your computer. Launch HandBrake and rip the file to a video format your video editor can deal with. Whaen the ripping is done, quit the ripper and launch the video editor. Drag the converted video to the video editor. Edit. Save. Be sure you edit according to YouTube’s file size and video length guidelines. Share or export to a file type that YouTuble Likes. AVI, WMV and MOV are most common – but YouTube can deal with others file formats. Set up a YouTube account. Upload.
