Does the samsung alias really turn off by itself?

I know a few people that have the Alias and I work tech support for vzw I haven’t heard of any issues of this phone powering off. Of course with any phone there is a chance there could be a problem in the software to cause the phone to malfunction but that is why you have a 1 yr manufacturers warranty so that if something does happen that isn’t due to physical or water damage you can get it replaced for free. Honestly I can’t even remember ever having to send a replacement for the Samsung Alias, Samsungs are typically good phones and if there is an issue with a phone that happens to a lot of people the manufacturer will release a software update to fix it.
