Does the saliva of all animals carry tetanus germs?

You dont find tetanus bacteria in saliva. Its found in soil and manure, and I have never heard of a dog being vaccinated for it. The reason you get a tetanus booster if you are bitten is that puncture wounds of any kind are a great place for tetanus bacteria to multiply, since it is anaerobic. Rabies is a virus that can be transmitted by the saliva of an infected animal….completely different. Dogs are required to be vaccinated for rabies by law. Look up the bite laws where the problem occurred….they vary from place to place. Where I live there is a three strikes rule, and a dog is required to be put down after biting the third time.
