Does the salary freeze announced February 9 apply to all Dartmouth employees, or to staff only?

0

February 17, 2009 The freeze on salaries for 2009-10 announced on February 9 applies to all Dartmouth employees, including faculty and staff. The normal annual review process will take place this spring, but there will be no merit-based increases under the salary freeze. There will, however, be a one-time $1,000 supplemental payment to employees earning less than $50,000 per year. Dartmouth Medical School has announced its pay program separately. The College will follow the collective bargaining agreements in effect with the union through June 30, 2010. Where a significant difference in scope and responsibility level occurs, position descriptions will be updated. Any change in grade level or associated compensation would be considered on a case-by-case basis. For faculty, normal adjustments will be made for promotion and tenure.
