Does the rubber mulch kill weeds?
No. The rubber mulch will not prevent weed seed that is already in the soil for germination. You can apply a pre-emergent weed killer before installation to kill the seed, or apply a “Round-Up” like product a few weeks after installation. Once the seed is out of the soil, Everlast mulch will trap the other airborne weed seed and dehydrate them before they germinate. You will see an honest 95% reduction in weed growth.
