Does the Roomba 560 really work?
I have been using my Roomba 550 for a few days now and I am in love. I have a mix of concrete, area rugs and carpet for floors and two high-hair-producing in-house pets and this little machine has been doing a wonderful job cleaning. It is quieter than I expected, recharges quickly and really cleans the floor. Understand though that it is not a complete substitute for vacuming it is really a complement to your vacume. The Roomba goes places that you likely do not with your vacume, such as under a bed or sofa and makes frequent vacuming very easy, however you will still need to vacume your furniture and places the Roomba may have trouble with, and occasionally deep vacume your carpet. Trouble areas will vary based on your own floors and furniture, but for me it is the edge between carpet and wood or concrete. And another benefit is that it is very entertaining to see how my cat and dog react to the Roomba.
